Poems for All of God's Children

Seeing Invisible Things

Poems are simply crucial thoughts crafted from carefully chosen creative words. They are a nonthreatening, whimsical way to touch on all sorts of topics. Funny verses like "Higgledy Piggledy moppin top" about handling emotions, or ones mentioning a pig who thought he could fly, can lead to serious, prayerful discussions.

Here are one hundred original poems for God's children about topics that matter to all ages: making mistakes, having fun, feeling jealous, doing hard things, God's love, talking to pets, struggling with hairstyles, and going to a new school. These poems are to enjoy reading aloud, to inspire conversations with children about their feelings or bad days, and to help them walk with Jesus joyfully in challenging times. Most importantly, the Bible verses of hope and faith linked to each poem will inspire confidence throughout life. (And they give even serious, forgetful adults a chance to once again see the world through children's eyes!)

It is more crucial than ever to talk about difficult topics with children and encourage them to walk through all challenges with Jesus beside them.
